2 ODU football players charged after altercation at Norfolk bar

Old Dominion offensive linemen Devin Hannan and Manny Matiarena were arrested Friday after Norfolk police say they were involved in an altercation in a bar that left two patrons injured early Sunday morning.

Hannan, a 20-year-old rising sophomore from Belle Vernon, Pa., was booked at the Norfolk City Jail after being charged with malicious wounding, a felony, and misdemeanor assault and battery, said Kaila DeRienzo, a spokeswoman for the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.

Matiarena, a 22-year-old senior from Los Angeles, was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery.

Two Huskers arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession in Florida

Two Husker players were arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession in Florida, according to court documents.

Stanley Morgan, 20, who will be a junior at Nebraska, has been charged with having less than 20 grams of marijuana in his possession on May 6 in Port Orange, Florida. 

Husker safety Antonio Reed, 19, was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor marijuana possession. He was later released with a notice to appear June 1.
