11 Alcorn State University football players arrested in connection with fight

Alcorn State The Fulmer CupCLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Eleven Alcorn State University football players were taken into custody in connection with a fight that broke out in the school cafeteria last week.

Claiborne County Sheriff Frank Davis said more than 21 affidavits had been filed in connection with the incident. Out of those affidavits, 11 students had been arrested.

The charges range from simple assault to malicious mischief.

Sheriff Davis said school officials have been cooperating with the investigation. He said the football coach told the students to meet him and that’s when the 11 players were taken into custody.

Michigan State defensive lineman Auston Robertson faces a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge stemming from an April 9 incident in Meridian Township.

The charge was issued on Friday in 55th district court, according to a statement from the Ingham County Prosecutor’s office. Third degree criminal sexual conduct is a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

Two starting Elon University football players were arrested Friday night and charged with peeping. Khalil Idris Moore, 18, of 14338 MacLauren Lane, Huntersville, and Jeremiah Narvell Bridges, 19, of 3407 Chatsworth Way, Powder Springs, Ga., were each arrested by Elon University Campus Police and charged with felony secret peeping. Oklahoma quarterback Chris Robison and defensive back Ronnie LaRue were cited for public intoxication early Sunday morning, hours after the Sooners’ spring game.

According to arrest records obtained by Brooke Pryor of the Oklahoman, Robison was booked at 3:33 a.m. Sunday and LaRue was booked at 5:33 a.m.

In one count, an alleged victim accused Merritt of exposing and touching himself “while sitting in arm’s reach” of her “on or about” Oct. 24. About a day later according to a court document, another alleged victim claimed Merritt pulled down his shorts and held himself also “while sitting in arm’s reach” of her.

Two Montana State football players arrested for allegedly dealing Xanax

Montana State The Fulmer CupTwo Montana State football players have been arrested on charges accusing them of dealing prescription drugs in Bozeman.

Naijiel Hale, 21, and Darren Gardenhire, 20, were arrested Wednesday.

Hale is charged with two counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs and a misdemeanor count of possession of dangerous drugs.

Artez Williams Dismissed UL football player arrested after rape investigation

Artez Williams The Fulmer CupA dismissed UL football player has been arrested following an investigation into a reported rape in a residence hall on campus.

On Monday, March 27 at approximately 9:21 p.m., UL Police received information of a rape that occurred on a previous date in a residence hall on campus. After an investigation of the incident was conducted, a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Artez Terrell Williams, 21, who was known by the victim.

Williams was arrested on April 5 without incident, charged with second-degree rape and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

CEDAR FALLS — A pair of current Northern Iowa football players have been arrested as part of a disturbance on College Hill on Sunday that saw the arrests of two former Panthers now in the National Football League.

Cedar Falls police arrested Xavior Lee Williams, 18, a redshirt freshman defensive back on the University of Northern Iowa’s squad, Thursday for misdemeanor assault on an officer. He was later released from jail.
