A pair of Monmouth University football players were charged with multiple offenses Sunday after police were called to a large fight at an off-campus party that drew between 200 and 300 people, police said.

Christian Runza Jr., 20, of Norwood, and Michael Christ, 21, of Sterling, Virginia, who were tenants of the house, were charged with disorderly conduct, maintaining a nuisance, providing alcohol to underage persons and borough ordinance violations for underage consumption of alcohol on private property and littering.

The fight broke when a group of approximately 30 people were denied entry into the party around 12:30 a.m., police said. That group vandalized several motor vehicles parked in the area, police said.
